Step 3: Verify Code Installation
- After embedding the code, return to HubSpot.
- Check the "Tracking Code" section to ensure that HubSpot recognizes your website and confirms the code's active status.
Step 4: Create and Place HubSpot Forms on Your Website
- From the main navigation bar, hover over "Marketing."
- Select "Forms" from the dropdown.
- Click "Create a form" and design your desired form (e.g., contact us, sign-up, download offers).
- Once the form is created, copy its embed code.
- Embed this form on the relevant pages of your website.
Step 5: Monitor Website Visitors
- In HubSpot, navigate to "Reports" and then "Analytics Tools."
- Click on "Website Analytics."
- Here, you can see details about website visitors, including page views, session duration, bounce rates, etc.
Step 6: Review Form Submissions
- Go back to the "Forms" section under "Marketing."
- Click on the specific form you want to review.
- This will show you a list of contacts who have filled out the form.
Step 7: Convert Visitors to Contacts
- Whenever someone fills out a HubSpot form on your website, they are automatically added to your contacts in the CRM.
- Navigate to "Contacts" from the main navigation bar to view and manage these new entries.
Step 8: Segment and Label Contacts
- In the "Contacts" section, you can segment your new contacts into lists or add labels/tags.
- Create lists based on criteria like the form they filled out, the pages they visited, or any other interaction they had on your site.
Step 9: Set Up Automated Emails for New Contacts (Optional)
- Navigate to "Marketing" and then "Email."
- Create an automated email to welcome or further engage new contacts that come from form submissions.
Step 10: Continuously Monitor and Engage
- Regularly check the "Website Analytics" and "Contacts" sections in HubSpot.
- Engage with your contacts through email marketing, follow-ups, or personalized offers based on their website behavior.
