Step 6: Set Up Mention Criteria

  • Under "What do you want to monitor?", select "Brand Mentions".

Step 7: Adjust Advanced Settings (Optional)

  • If you want to exclude specific words or set up additional criteria for the mentions, use the advanced settings to refine your stream's parameters.

Step 8: Set Up Notifications

  • After defining the mention criteria, scroll to the "Notify Me" section.
  • Choose the frequency of notifications (e.g., immediately, daily summary).
  • Decide on the delivery method for the notifications, such as email or in-app notifications.

Step 9: Save and Activate Stream

  • Click the "Save" or "Create Stream" button at the bottom of the side panel to activate monitoring for the specified mentions.

Step 10: Test the Setup

  • It's a good practice to test your new settings:
  • Mention your brand from a personal or other external social media account.
  • Check if you receive a notification based on the criteria and settings you've specified.
