- Choose 'Monthly' as the frequency.
Step 6: Select the Recipients
- Under the 'To' field, input the email addresses of the stakeholders who should receive the report.
- If sending to multiple recipients, separate each email address with a comma.
Step 7: Customize the Email Content (Optional)
- Adjust the subject line if needed.
- Add a personalized message or context for the report in the 'Message' section.
Step 8: Determine the Send Date and Time
- Choose a specific date of the month for sending the report (e.g., 1st of every month).
- Set your preferred time for the email to be dispatched.
Step 9: Enable or Set Attachments (Optional)
- Decide if you want to include an attachment (e.g., a PDF) of the dashboard.
- If yes, toggle on the attachment option and select your preferred file format.
Step 10: Review and Save
- Recheck all the email settings to ensure they match your preferences.
- Click on the 'Save' or 'Schedule' button to finalize the automation.
Step 11: Verify the Automation
- Once saved, you should see the upcoming email schedule listed under the 'Scheduled emails' section of the dashboard's email settings.
- Ensure that the details align with what you've set up.
Step 12: Inform the Stakeholders
- As a best practice, inform your stakeholders ahead of time that they will be receiving automated monthly reports.
- This ensures they anticipate the emails and reduces the chance of them marking the reports as spam.
